Hermitage has been deemed an essential business, as we supply other businesses with goods that are necessary for the completion of infrastructure, such as commercial and residential spaces. These spaces include restaurants and medical facilities, among others. The safety of our employees and customers is our number one concern. Due to the novel coronavirus, we will be continuing to operate our showroom, but by appointment only. Customers can also call our stores to place orders for will call, delivery, or curbside pickup. Our online catalog is available 24/7 for convenient shopping from home.
We are taking all of the necessary precautions to make sure we stay clean and sanitized every day. We have implemented strict policies adhering to social distancing guidelines that were set forth by our local and federal government. We have also implemented new delivery guidelines to ensure the safety of both our delivery drivers and customers, such as wellness checks every morning for our staff and the disbursement of hand sanitizer and masks throughout our organization. We have also changed the procedures for our delivery drivers as we determine the health and safety of both our team and customers before arrival to job sites or homes.
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely, but, more importantly, we will continue to be there for all of our customers and their lighting, appliance, hardware and plumbing, kitchen and bath remodeling, and accessory needs, while continuing to put the safety of our employees and customers first and foremost.
